🎓 Eligibility Criteria
✔️ Educational Qualification
- Intermediate (10+2) passed from a recognized board.
- Hindi or Sanskrit as a subject in matriculation or higher.
✔️ Mandatory Eligibility
- Qualified in HSSC Common Eligibility Test (CET) – Group C is compulsory to apply.
✔️ Age Limit (as on 01/01/2026)
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 25 years (standard); age relaxation granted as per rules and one-time relaxation by state govt.
Age relaxations apply for SC/ST/OBC/ESM categories as per HSSC rules.
🏃 Physical & Fitness Requirements
Candidates shortlisted based on CET scores must undergo:
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Male: Run 2.5 km in specified time
- Female: Run 1 km in specified time
Further selection continues with written test, document verification, and medical tests.

- Pay Range: ₹21,700 – ₹69,100 + DA, HRA & other allowances (as applicable).
- Higher positions (Head Constable, ASI, SI etc.) have separate pay scales.
